PRESENTATION & CONTENT SPECIALIST I

Brella Productions (www.brella.com), a strategic digital production company, is seeking a an Operations Assistant to start immediately at our headquarters in Evanston, IL. We are a team-oriented workplace where the ability to enjoy the work while playing well with others is extremely important. 

Presentation and Content Specialist Job Purpose: The Presentation Specialist is responsible for editing presentations that achieve the objectives of the client’s project. The Presentation Specialist will primarily be working in PowerPoint, but needs to have a working knowledge of Keynote. This event production specialist should be able to collaborate with clients, senior production crew and design staff to cleanup existing PowerPoint decks and Keynote presentations. Beyond preproduction execution, the Presentation Specialist will be part of the event production crew, working on last minute deck changes and running the live show computers.

Presentation and Content Specialist Job Duties: 

  • Cleanup presentations for client events using defined branding guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively in slide review sessions with client present.
  • Create slides using supplied graphics and slide templates.
  • Work with additional presentation specialists to for large-scale productions.
  • Provide quality assurance of all deliverables.
  • Run Live show computers presenting PPT and Video Playback.

 

 

Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Well-developed communication skills and a professional demeanor.
  • PowerPoint authoring and editing skills in current version and last version of PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn the strengths and limitations of presentation technology including aspect ratios, projectors, sound, and video equipment.
  • Understanding of image formats, resolution, and size.
  • Video experience a plus, but not required.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus but not required.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines.
  • Ability and desire to work in both a corporate and production setting.
  • Ability to maintain excellent customer facing attitude during long hours in high stress situations.
