Production Project Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an applicant who is upbeat, motivated, and ready to work in a productive yet friendly workplace. You must have great organization skills, a cool head during times of stress, and an eye for all the details. Our ideal candidates have a working familiarity with project managing / producing videos, design materials, programming (web or app), events, or corporate training projects. A professional and/or educational background in training, media production, sales and/or marketing preferred.

Job Description

         Create and maintain production schedules and timelines

         Coordinate and manage production staff efforts

         Prioritize workload to maintain balance between multiple projects

         Maintain project budgets (time and expenses) and initiate change order process when necessary

         Coordinate with account managers and clients to establish and meet project expectations and goals

         Coordinate with Traffic and Production Team Managers on deployment of staff and equipment resource

         Balance multiple and sometimes conflicting project demands and deadlines

         Create and maintain project documentation , including development of project briefs and plans, client files etc.

         Ensure a smooth flow of communication to/from creative and production team members and client.

         Maintain high Quality Assurance processes and standards

         Review and approve project deliverables before sending to the client

         Coordinate organization for project archives and maintain file structures

         Enjoy a well-organized process

         Extremely detail oriented

         Exceptional organizational skills

         Exceptional time management skills including the ability to work deadlines both backward and forwards and modify schedules quickly to meet revised project needs

         Ability to delegate and/or share work

         Ability to take full ownership of a project and follow through on responsibilities of self and  team members

         Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)

         Must be highly proficient in Microsoft office products

         Comfortable dealing with multiple management styles and personalities

         Ability to adapt to changing priorities

         Ability to set and maintain both short and long term deadlines     

         Able to take clear notes, self-manage and follow through on complex projects

         Able to say no in a warm and friendly way   

         Able to troubleshoot difficult or sensitive problems and find positive solutions

         Be comfortable asking for help

         Interested in learning new skills/methods and devising innovative solutions

         Experience working with video, design, event or programming projects preferred

         Past experience in Training Departments, Sales or Marketing Departments a plus. Pharma and /or Ad agency experience a plus.

Educational & Prior Job Qualifications

2 years of related professional experience and a college degree in design, communications, technical production, marketing, sales or customer service strongly preferred or 3+ years of related professional experience. 

Pay Rate

TBD depending on qualifications
