Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager

Brella Productions ( ) , a strategic digital production company, is seeking a client facing Project Manager with a technical background in programming or UX / UI design and ideally some video production familiarity, who displays very strong organizational and people skills. The ideal candidate should enjoy the combination of tech and project management and is upbeat and self-motivated.  Having a sense of humor is also good. Bowling skills are optional. 


Pre Production Phase 

  • Work with Account Managers, technical /design leads and clients to document project requirements 
  • Develop and maintain project schedules & resource requirements
  • Document meeting notes on client meetings: all phases 
  • Determine all assets and required content
  • Plan project staffing and resource requirements

Production/Development Phase 

  • Coordinate production of graphics, audio elements, video elements, and programming with internal and external team members
  • Coordinate project testing and QA
  • Assign tasks to staff members & ensure timely completion
  • Follow-up and attain approvals from clients
  • Deter scope creep and schedule violations
  • Manage Launch of project 
  • Close job and manage post project documentation and archiving
  • Have fun with your team!


  • 2+ years of experience working  as a full time PM on web / programming projects
  • Experience working in education or professional development a plus
  • Previous professional experience or education in Video Production a plus
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Able to say no in a warm and friendly way
  • Able to set and maintain both short and long term deadlines
  • Able to troubleshoot difficult or sensitive problems and find positive solutions
  • Comfortable managing and working directly with our staff and our clients
  • Multilingual a plus

All applicants must be able to work full time at the office in the Evanston area.
